The City of Tacoma Environment and Public Works Department seeks a skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Electrician/Instrumentation Technician to perform journey-level electrical and instrumentation maintenance. The role focuses on maintenance and installation of equipment, controls, and motors across WWTP facilities, with emphasis on preventative and predictive maintenance and system monitoring.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and at least two years of relevant journey-level

Qualifications

• Two years journey-level experience as electrician or instrumentation technician in an industrial or manufacturing plant/work environment.
• Additional course work in electric theory and industrial controls.

Responsabilités

• Perform skilled journey-level electrical and instrumentation maintenance work that involves maintenance and installation of equipment, instrumentation, controls, and motors.
• Develop and implement a proactive maintenance program including preventative and predictive maintenance, and equipment condition monitoring.
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation, control systems, and electrical distribution in wastewater treatment environments.
