Job summary

City of Pilot Point seeks a Wastewater Treatment Plant Crew Leader to supervise daily operations and coordinate a crew of plant personnel under the Wastewater Superintendent. You will lead operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities, monitor safety and regulatory compliance, prepare reports, and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

You will monitor performance, provide direction to staff, and support emergency response and after-hours callouts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least two years total work experience.
• At least one year of experience in wastewater treatment plant operations.
• TCEQ Class C Wastewater License required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinates daily work activities for plant crew under Wastewater Superintendent.
• Provide feedback, training, and evaluate work performance.
• Assist with operation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of treatment processes and facilities.
• Ensure materials, tools, and supplies are available and inspect completed work for quality.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and process leave/overtime requests.
