Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for Operator in Training.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in wastewater technology or related field preferred for Operator 1-3.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (as per qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant and collection system equipment.
• Monitor and document plant performance and process variables.
• Inspect and maintain lift stations, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
• Collect samples and perform basic laboratory tests and data entry.
• Ensure safety practices and proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.

Education
