Job summary

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, be willing to obtain water/wastewater certification, and be able to work all shifts, including weekends and on-call emergencies; CDL preferred, valid driver’s license, basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study and obtain water or wastewater certification.
• Knowledge of process control techniques, maintenance procedures and safe practices.
• Ability to perform on-site maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Familiarity with regulatory rules.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, vehicles.
• Conducts routine testing and monitoring of production wells and wastewater unit processes.
• Documents treatment plant performance including daily flow, electrical and chemical usage.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Maintains clean, secure facilities and provides customer service as needed.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, evenings and on-call.
