Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator I to oversee operation and maintenance of equipment at wastewater treatment facilities. The role requires willingness to study for state certifications and to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

CDL might be preferred, and on-site duties include basic lab work and regulatory compliance. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Willing to study required material to obtain water or wastewater certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment including valves, pumps, motors and related machinery.
• Conducts routine testing and basic lab analyses of water/wastewater processes.
• Documents plant performance and daily flow, chemical usage and dosing.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and systems.
• Ensures facilities are clean, secure and safe; supports customer service as needed.
