Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of process control techniques and maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with safety practices and regulatory rules related to water/wastewater operations.
• Experience in on-site maintenance and emergency repairs is preferred.
• Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and 24-hour on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment such as valves, pumps, motors, belt presses and disinfection equipment.
• Conducts routine testing and monitoring of production wells and wastewater unit processes.
• Documents plant performance including flow, electrical and chemical usage and dosages.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Maintains clean, secure facilities and provides customer service when needed.
• Works across shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
