Job summary

Stover & Associates Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Operations Specialist to operate and maintain wastewater facilities. The role requires inspecting equipment, using common hand tools, and documenting data in shift logs. You will assist with maintenance, housekeeping, and follow procedures to prevent downtime.

The position is full-time, in-person, with overtime and you must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. GED or high school diploma and 6 months related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge of equipment, tools, their use and maintenance.
• Knowledge of H2S safety.
• Basic math skills and applications.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with good judgement.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect wastewater facility equipment and processes.
• Use hand tools to maintain equipment and perform routine tests.
• Maintain clean facilities, tools, and logs.
• Monitor meters and gauges to prevent downtime or upset.
• Assist with facility maintenance and housekeeping.
• Communicate data during shift changes and logbooks.
• Perform tasks in a timely manner.
