Job summary

The Stover Group is seeking an Operations Specialist to operate and maintain wastewater facilities and processes. This in-person role requires hands-on mechanical skills, routine testing, and keen attention to safety protocols.

You will inspect equipment, log daily data, work with a team, and support maintenance tasks to ensure smooth operations. The position includes physical tasks, strong problem-solving, and reliable shift performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or six months related experience and/or a combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of equipment and tooling usage, service requirements and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater facilities and processes.
• Inspect equipment, monitor operating conditions, meters and gauges to prevent downtime or upsets.
• Maintain clean work areas, tools, equipment and facilities.
• Perform routine minimum control tests and assist with facility maintenance.
• Communicate data and information in operator logbooks and during shift changes.
• Perform assigned tasks in a timely manner and assist others as needed.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically active environment.
