City of Woodburn is seeking a Wastewater Operator II to perform journey level and skilled tasks in the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and related facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, sampling, process testing, data interpretation, and support for pump stations and biosolids handling equipment.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least three years in wastewater operations or an equivalent combination.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or GED required and 3+ years in wastewater operations/maintenance or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Oregon DEQ Treatment Operator II certification is required or must be obtained.
• Valid Oregon Class C driver license is required.
• Forklift certification and first aid/CPR training preferred or obtainable after hire.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility, pump stations, conveyance systems, water reuse and biosolids handling equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and routine calibration/ testing of processes.
• Collect samples and conduct process testing; interpret data to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with grounds landscaping, building maintenance, and facility housekeeping duties.
