Job summary

City of Woodburn is seeking a Wastewater Operator II to operate and maintain the City's wastewater treatment plant, pump stations, and reuse systems. The role includes preventative maintenance, sampling, data interpretation, and assisting with grounds and facility upkeep.

Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of related O&M experience or equivalent, a valid Oregon Class C license, and the ability to obtain the DEQ Operator II certification. Veterans' preference may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain City wastewater treatment plant, pump stations, conveyance systems, and reuse/bio-solids handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, sample collection, and process testing; interpret data.
• Perform grounds landscaping, building maintenance, and housekeeping duties as needed.
