Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3+ years in potable water treatment and distribution.
• Oregon class C driver's license and ability to meet city driving standards.
• Oregon Water Treatment Operator II certification; ability to obtain/maintain after employment: forklift, flagger, first aid/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in maintenance of water treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, and pumping facilities.
• Perform process tests and monitor influent/effluent water parameters; adjust operations to meet water quality standards.
• Check alarms, pump operations, tank levels, and other data via computer terminals; inspect dispensing equipment for proper operation.
• Troubleshoot telemetry systems and perform routine maintenance on storage and distribution systems.
