Job summary

City of Woodburn is seeking a Wastewater Operator II to perform journey‑level operations and maintenance at the city’s wastewater treatment plant and related facilities. The role includes preventive maintenance, sampling, data interpretation, and operation of pump stations and reuse systems.

Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or GED with at least three years of related experience, Oregon DEQ Treatment Operator II certification, and a valid Oregon Class C driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED with a minimum of three years’ experience in WWTP operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the City of Woodburn wastewater treatment plant and related facilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and sample collection.
• Interpret process data and manage pump stations, conveyance systems, and reuse/bio-solids equipment.
• Contribute to grounds, building maintenance and facility housekeeping.
