Job summary

LU Service Corp. in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Wastewater Operator I to perform a variety of semi-skilled to skilled tasks maintaining water wells, pumps, and wastewater facilities. You may provide direction to peers and may be on-call or shift work, including nights and weekends.

Training and safety compliance are emphasized within the role. You will work under supervision to operate, monitor, and repair wastewater systems, respond to emergencies, and support customers with water quality

Qualifications

• Ability to read maps, manuals, work orders, and blueprints.
• Ability to perform general math calculations including water-related computations.
• Ability to write work orders, memos, reports, and maintain daily records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wastewater collection infrastructure and lift stations.
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment facilities and related equipment.
• Respond to operational emergencies as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist customers with concerns of water quality and odors.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance and repairs.
• Read plans to locate utilities and plan shutdowns.
• Possess ADEQ License and valid driver’s license as required.

Education

ADEQ Grade I Operator License
