The role requires a strong background in wastewater processing, instrumentation, and lab procedures, with a focus on reliability and regulatory adherence.

The position demands at least 7 years’ experience, AZ ADEQ Grade 4 license, and the ability to read meters and operate SCADA systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in wastewater treatment operations.
• ADEQ Grade 4 Operator License required in Arizona.
• Senior knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, pumps, mechanical equipment, instrumentation and basic laboratory procedures.
• Ability to read meters, gauges, drawings and operating procedures.
• Good computer skills, including familiarity with computerized process-control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Liberty staff and contractors and coordinate operations.
• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
• Analyze job details and emergencies and make decisions.
• Monitor pumps, valves, and related systems.
• Maintain logs, perform sampling and laboratory tests.
• Respond to alarms and process upsets.
• Assist in preparing regulatory reports.
• Manage safety with strict adherence to rules.
