Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking Wastewater Operators to join our client’s industrial facility in North Carolina. You will operate and monitor treatment systems, perform testing and data logging, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires an active NC Wastewater Operator license, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts, including some weekends. Prior experience in poultry or municipal water operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active NC Wastewater Operator license.
• 2+ years wastewater treatment experience.
• Background in poultry, protein processing, municipal, or state water/wastewater operations preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform routine testing, sampling, and data logging for treatment processes.
• Troubleshoot and adjust treatment operations to maintain proper water quality.
• Complete regular equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for regulatory reporting.
• Follow all required safety and environmental compliance protocols.
