Veolia North America seeks an Operator to maintain wastewater treatment processes and the collection system. You will perform rounds, lab testing, and preventative maintenance while supporting an on-call rotation for after-hours coverage.

The role requires 1–5 years in wastewater, a high school diploma or GED (advanced science/tech degree preferred), and ability to pass background and drug screening. Strong safety and regulatory compliance are essential.

Competenze

High School diploma or GED; ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in science/technical field strongly preferred.
1–5 years experience in a related wastewater position preferred.

Mansioni

Monitor treatment process and equipment via in-person and remote inspection.
Collect and analyze wastewater samples for permit compliance and process control.
Record plant data in logs and digital software.
Perform preventative and emergency maintenance for plant and collections system.
Participate in on-call rotation for weekends/holidays and off-hours coverage.
Assist sub-contractors, engineers, and outside personnel with upgrades, repairs and connections.
Assist with maintenance of buildings and grounds.
