Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in wastewater facility maintenance; familiarity with NPDES and air permit requirements.
• Certifications such as Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician, CWEA Level 4 Mechanical Technologist, or related credentials.
• Excellent communication, technical problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to review drawings, P&IDs, and schematics for planning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop a maintenance team for daily operations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Establish workflows for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.
• Support asset management principles, including SLAs, lifecycle considerations, and data governance.
• Utilize CMMS data to improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
• Oversee CMMS administration and ensure accurate asset/inventory data and standard processes.
• Direct and monitor spare parts and inventory, integrating PMs with CMMS workflows.
• Establish training requirements and ensure CMMS proficiency.
• Prepare estimates for labor, materials, and duration of maintenance activities.
• Manage budgets by monitoring costs and optimizing resources.
• Ensure maintenance planning aligns with safety, regulatory, and operational goals.
• Reinforce safety programs and regulatory compliance.
