Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Lab Manager in Oklahoma City, OK to supervise the laboratory operations for our water/wastewater facility and ensure safe, high-quality analyses.

The role requires a chemistry or bacteriology background, five years of chemical testing experience, supervisory experience, and an Oklahoma Class A Laboratory Operator license. You will lead a team, maintain QA programs, and contribute to compliance and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry or BS degree in Bacteriology.
• Five years of experience doing chemical analysis and related tests.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Oklahoma Class A Laboratory Operator license.
• Driver’s license with no major infractions.

Responsibilities

• Conducts biochemical, chemical and bacteriological tests and interprets results.
• Manages and trains laboratory staff; supervises operations.
• Develops QA programs and safety protocols for the lab.
• Prepares reports and budgets for the laboratory.
• Ensures compliance with pretreatment regulations and POTW permits.
