Job summary

Team Gilbert is seeking a Lift Station Technician to maintain wastewater lift stations in Gilbert, AZ. The role involves daily site visits, reactive and preventive maintenance, and coordinating with contractors during major repairs.

The position requires on‑call duty, early hours, and compliance with ADEQ certifications and a Class B CDL Tanker endorsement. A high school diploma and technical training are required, with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of specialized or technical training beyond high school in mechanical, plumbing/electrical, and basic sewer operations.
• 2 years on‑the‑job experience in the same field is required.
• Must possess on‑call and standby duty.
• ADEQ Grade 1 and Grade 2 Wastewater Operator certifications are required (within 1 year).
• Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement required (within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Visit and observe every lift station daily.
• Perform reactive maintenance daily on wastewater lift station equipment.
• Generate Lucity work orders weekly.
• Perform preventive maintenance monthly on wastewater lift station equipment.
• Prepare daily reports regarding actions taken.
• Exercise valves and ARV maintenance.
• Work with contractors, scheduling during major repairs.
