Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Wastewater Lab Technician in Oklahoma City, OK to perform chemical, bacteriological and physical analyses on water and wastewater samples. You will operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab instruments while maintaining QA/QC standards.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree in Chemistry or Biology is preferred. Experience with EPA methods, LIMS, and MS Office is beneficial; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in chemistry/biology preferred.
• Strong data interpretation and ability to present analyses clearly.
• Knowledge of EPA methods and QA/QC protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological and physical tests on water/wastewater samples.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Prepare analytical standards and reagents for analyses.
• Support QA/QC programs and safety training in the lab.
