Job summary

Epwpcoa is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform physical, chemical, and biological analyses of wastewater samples. You will prepare reagents, operate standard instruments, and record results in the data management system.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and good teamwork. Responsibilities include measuring BOD, TSS, TDS, pH, dissolved oxygen, fecal coliforms, and nutrients.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology or equivalent preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a relevant laboratory setting.
  • Basic knowledge of standard laboratory principles, procedures, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analyses of municipal and industrial wastewater (BOD, TSS, TDS, pH, DO, fecal coliforms, nutrients).
  • Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare reagents and standard test solutions; maintain records and chain-of-custody.
  • Collect samples as needed and assist in housekeeping and inventory.
  • Must be a detail-oriented team player with ability to work with minimal supervision.
