Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Lead Lab Technician in Oklahoma City, OK.

You will perform analytical testing on water and wastewater samples, operate and calibrate lab instruments, and provide technical support to the lab team to ensure accurate QC and regulatory compliance. The role requires 7–10 years of experience in analytical labs, Oklahoma Class A Operator certification or ability to obtain, and proficiency with EPA methods, LIMS, Windows, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must have Oklahoma Class A Laboratory Operator or ability to obtain with 6 months of hire.
• 7–10 years of experience in analytical or environmental lab performing physical, chemical, and biological analyses.
• Familiarity with EPA and Standard Methods for Water & Wastewater.
• Understand and follow QC requirements of regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, and physical tests for water recycling facility.
• Supervise Lab Technicians and ensure procedures and safety guidelines are followed.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation; troubleshoot as needed.
• Assist other lab areas and support process control functions.
