Job summary

HydroPoint Field Services is seeking a Field Technician in St. Louis to collect wastewater samples across Missouri and beyond. You will install, operate, and calibrate sampling equipment, document procedures, and ensure proper sample handling for lab analysis.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to travel up to half the time. OSHA PPE protocols and safety standards are a core part of daily work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong field problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel 50%+ as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record is required.
• Experience in environmental sampling is a plus.
• HAZWOPER certification or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain representative wastewater samples at designated locations.
• Install, operate and calibrate field sampling equipment.
• Maintain samples and ensure proper transportation to a testing lab
• Prepare accurate notes reflecting procedures and site conditions
• Follow Safety & PPE protocol
• Support company mission with ad hoc duties as needed
• Maintain good professional relationships with customers and the public
