Job summary

USP Technologies is seeking an Applications Specialist to serve on-site at customer facilities, delivering wastewater sampling, chemical logistics oversight and system maintenance. You will build trust with plant operators, translate field data into actionable recommendations, and work with cross-functional teams to meet contract targets.

The role requires on-site work, strong communication, and a background in water/wastewater chemistry. Travel to multiple sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-5 years of customer-facing water/wastewater treatment experience; hands-on sampling/analysis preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; wastewater operator certification or HazMat training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect routine grab and composite samples and perform on-site analyses per protocols.
• Forecast chemical usage and schedule deliveries to prevent stock-outs while minimizing costs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot chemical feed systems, record maintenance logs and inventories.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for plant operators and environmental staff; communicate results and recommendations.
