The City of St. Robert is seeking a Wastewater Collections Technician to maintain pump stations, gravity and pressure lines, conduct inspections and locate defects in the sewer system. The role involves outdoor work in all weather, on-call duties, and coordination with the Water and Wastewater Department.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CDL with tanker endorsement, and Missouri Wastewater Operator certification. Prior experience in wastewater collection is preferred.

Qualifications

• The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in wastewater collection.
• Licenses such as CDL with tanker endorsement are required or obtainable within a specified period.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, plumbing and electrical concepts and common field testing equipment.

Responsabilités

• Inspects and maintains pump stations, gravity and pressure lines.
• Detects leaks, cracks and defects in sanitary sewer lines and makes repairs.
• Operates equipment including jackhammer and CCTV camera for inspections.
• Reads blueprints, locates mains and assists with installations.
• On-call for a 24-hour period as needed and coordinates with other departments.
