Woodard & Curran in Missouri is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team responsible for the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities. Responsibilities include inspecting and repairing sanitary sewers, operating heavy equipment, welding, responding to customer issues, and assisting with locating new lines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid Missouri driver's license (CDL with tanker endorsement a plus), and relevant experience

Formación

• Positive attitude and work ethic.
• High School graduate or equivalent; technical background a plus.
• A valid Missouri driver’s license; CDL with tanker endorsement a plus or obtainable within 6 months.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 40 lbs regularly.
• 1+ year relevant experience or combination of education/experience considered.
• Knowledge of wastewater collection systems repair/maintenance.
• Knowledge of operation and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Skilled with hand and power tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• NASSCO certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Class A CDL with air brakes and tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• On-call rotation participation and after-hours support.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Background check, pre-placement physical and drug screen required.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and repair sanitary sewer mains and manholes.
• Operate heavy equipment (e.g., lining equipment, high-pressure cleaners, excavators).
• Weld, repair water/sewer mains; respond to customer complaints.
• Assist in locating, inspecting new lines and related duties.
