City of Boise is hiring a Utilities Technician II to maintain the wastewater collection system. This is a hands-on, field-based role operating sewer cleaning and vacuum equipment and responding to issues across the system.

The position requires a CDL with tanker endorsement, safety training, and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions. Training and wastewater certifications are available as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience operating a Class A or B commercial vehicle with air brake.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsabilités

• Operate sewer cleaning and vacuum trucks and related equipment.
• Maintain and inspect wastewater collection infrastructure.
• Read blueprints and use GIS to locate underground assets.
• Document maintenance records and coordinate with supervisor.
• Provide public customer service and respond to inquiries.
