Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year of basic plumbing/construction experience.
• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain Nevada certifications within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual labor duties including heavy lifting, shoveling, yard maintenance and related tasks.
• Cleans screens, degreasers and wet wells; checks valves, pumps and air blowers.
• Cleans and maintains pumps and motors; lubricates components and seals.
• Maintains daily records; assists with routine maintenance at water storage facilities.
• Sets up traffic controls and directs traffic around work sites; operates county vehicle as needed.
