Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a driven Wastewater Treatment or Process Mechanical Engineer to work on Hawaii projects and across the Western U.S. and Pacific region.

You will join a core team of wastewater engineers on studies, designs, and field assignments to deliver innovative solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, PE license, 5+ years in water/wastewater or industrial treatment, data analysis, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, environmental engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 5+ years of progressive process mechanical engineering and project delivery experience in water/wastewater/industrial treatment.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate treatment options and communicate complex solutions to clients.
• Design and implement pilot-scale and full-scale treatment systems.
• Develop facility layouts and P&IDs, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct data analysis and computer modeling; write technical reports.
• Support bidding, permitting, and field inspections.
