Job summary

Jacobs in the Southeast seeks a Senior Wastewater Process Engineer to lead complex wastewater treatment projects, provide technical leadership, and help deliver innovative, compliant solutions for local, national, and global clients.

You will bring a PE license and 12+ years of progressive experience in process engineering, including planning, piloting, modeling, and design, and work within Jacobs' hybrid policy to balance office and field responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred).
• Professional Engineer license (P.E.).
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive process engineering and project delivery experience with wastewater and/or industrial treatment, including process planning, evaluations, piloting, modeling, and design.
• Proven experience working on wastewater treatment projects.
• Related project management and task leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects and tasks.
• Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to wastewater treatment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage wastewater treatment projects from concept to completion.
• Provide technical leadership on process engineering, piloting, modeling, and design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business development, marketing, and delivery.
• Engage with clients to deliver compliant, cost-effective solutions and responsible project outcomes.
