Job summary

Pennoni, a multidisciplinary engineering firm, seeks a Staff Engineer to contribute to water and wastewater projects from our Philadelphia, PA office. The role focuses on hydraulic modeling, regulatory permitting, and design for treatment and conveyance facilities.

You will collaborate with private developers, municipalities, and transportation agencies in the Mid-Atlantic, perform field data collection as needed, and help prepare plans, reports, and cost estimates with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of professional experience in engineering, preferably wastewater projects.
• PA PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop design criteria and parameters for water and wastewater facilities.
• Design project plans and prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and specifications.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting.
• Communicate with clients and team throughout design and construction.
• Perform field data collection and site visits; support construction administration.
