Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to contribute to municipal water resources projects from our Philadelphia, PA office. This full-time role emphasizes design, permitting, and project coordination for Pennsylvania municipalities, with responsibilities spanning construction inspection and producing technical reports.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree with 4+ years of experience; P.E. is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
4+ years of professional engineering experience in infrastructure/utility projects.
Experience with water resources or wet utilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work on a variety of water resources & wet utilities projects for Pennsylvania municipalities, including subdivision & land development reviews, road rehabilitation, stormwater mgmt, capital improvements, grant writing, and attending public meetings.
Serve as Engineer of Record on design/construction activities for plants and/or pipeline projects.
Prepare engineering reports.
Work on project design and permitting.
Coordinate master planning-related tasks.
Perform outdoor construction inspection work, when needed.
Additional tasks may be assigned.
