Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead water and wastewater projects from our Winter Haven, Florida office. You will focus on treatment and conveyance projects, directing design, permitting, and construction support while coordinating with clients and staff across offices.

Candidates should have 8+ years of relevant experience, a civil/environmental engineering background, and be eligible for PE licensure within six months. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• PE licensure is preferred or candidates must obtain it within six months.
• Experience leading water/wastewater projects and staff is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team on multiple water/wastewater projects from design through construction support.
• Develop design criteria and parameters for water/wastewater facilities in coordination with clients.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and specifications; coordinate with regulators.
• Manage project scope, tasks, schedule, and budgets; ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to staff; collaborate across offices as needed.
• Perform field data collection and occasional construction administration activities.
