Skills Alliance is seeking an experienced Senior Wastewater Process Engineer in Pennsylvania to lead wastewater treatment projects from concept through construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound solutions.

The role requires a PE license and a strong background in municipal wastewater design, with responsibilities spanning design, specifications, construction support, and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• PMP or DBIA certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead wastewater treatment projects through planning, design, and delivery phases
• Independently develop treatment process designs and technical specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and design teams to define project scopes and technical solutions
• Perform engineering calculations related to biological treatment systems, process piping networks, and pumping systems
• Support proposal development and technical planning activities
• Provide technical oversight, quality reviews, and mentorship to junior engineering staff
• Coordinate drawing production, review design packages, and provide technical guidance throughout project execution
• Manage competing project schedules across both design and construction-related activities
• Develop innovative treatment concepts and process improvements for municipal wastewater facilities
