Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Wastewater Conveyance Supervisor I to oversee operations and maintenance of our wastewater facilities. You will lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize asset performance to protect public health and the environment.

Reporting to the Wastewater Conveyance Supervisor II, you will train personnel, manage budgets, coordinate with engineers, and implement safety practices across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent planning, budgeting, and project management capabilities.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of assigned operations and maintenance activities.
• Trains, develops, mentors, and evaluates staff; fosters integrity, trust, respect, unity, safety and teamwork.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and reliable conveyance of wastewater.
• Plays a role in maintenance planning, asset management, and project coordination.
