Job summary

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) is seeking a Wastewater Conveyance Supervisor I to oversee operations and maintenance of wastewater facilities, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. Ideal candidates have five years of relevant experience, appropriate operator licenses, and a valid Texas driver’s license. The position supports NTMWD’s values and growth within the region.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree or trade cert preferred.
• Five years’ wastewater conveyance and pumping experience.
• Hold a TX TCEQ Class III Wastewater Collection or Class B Wastewater Treatment license; valid TX driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of assigned operations and maintenance activities.
• Trains, mentors, and evaluates staff; cultivates an environment of Integrity, Trust, Respect, Unity, Safety, and Teamwork.
• Ensures system operations are adequately monitored and controlled to meet regulatory requirements.
• Participates in planning of and oversees maintenance and asset management projects; implements maintenance practices and inventory control.
• Communicates with stakeholders about facility operations and maintains logs and records.
