Job summary

The City of Largo is seeking a Wastewater Collections Worker to perform a range of skilled and semi-skilled duties in the sanitary sewer system. You will operate trucks, backhoes, and other equipment under supervision and assist with installations, repairs, and data entry in the CMMS.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED, a Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement, FWPCOA Wastewater Collections C Certification within two years, and CPR/First Aid training within six months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with Tanker endorsement required within six months of hire.
• FWPCOA Wastewater Collections C Certification within two years of hire.
• CPR/First Aid training within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate light to heavy-duty trucks and equipment in wastewater collection work.
• Assist with installation and repair of gravity and force-main pipelines.
• Enter data into CMMS, create work orders, and track tasks.
