The City of Palm Bay is seeking a Utilities Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution and wastewater collection system. You will lead a team, set priorities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all field operations.

Qualifications include five years of direct wastewater collections experience, CDL with tank endorsement, and required certifications; knowledge of CMMS and field equipment is essential; this role may require on-call duties,

Formación

• Five years of direct experience with wastewater collections systems.
• Two years of operational decision-making in wastewater collection.
• Valid Florida Class A CDL with tank endorsement and clean driving record.
• Certifications in Trenching and Shoring and Confined Space.
• FWPCOA Wastewater Collection System Operator Technician Level I Certification or CSUS Level I within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Supervise personnel, assign work, monitor safety and performance.
• Enter and review data in CMMS; issue public notices for boil water, testing, etc.
• Operate light and heavy equipment as needed.
• May work on weekends/holidays and participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop and enforce division policies, budgets, and safety compliance.
