Job summary

Summit Interconnect is seeking a Waste Water Treatment (WWT) Operator to run and monitor the WWT system and perform preventive maintenance in a manufacturing setting in Schaumburg, IL. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with base pay $17.00–$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include daily lab analysis for pH and copper, hazardous waste handling, and ensuring compliance with safety and ITAR requirements. High school diploma and 1 year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year experience in wastewater treatment or related manufacturing experience.
• PCB industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies, systems and procedures.
• Operate and monitor the wastewater treatment system daily.
• Perform daily lab analyses (pH, copper) and batch treatments as needed.
• Handle hazardous waste and organize shipments.
• Set up piping and controls on the WWT system and production floor.
