Job summary

SWD Inc. seeks a diligent Waste Treatment Operator for 2nd/3rd shift in Addison, Illinois. You will monitor control panels, calibrate meters, and manage tank levels while coordinating with the metal finishing department to ensure safe, efficient waste treatment operations.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, weekend availability, and a willingness to obtain a Class K license within one year. We offer weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting is desirable.
• Class K license or commitment to obtain within one year.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor control panels and ensure systems operate correctly.
• Calibrate pH meters and maintain probes.
• Oversee tank levels and coordinate with finishing department.
• Document operations and maintain logs regularly.
• Perform neutralization reactor and clarifier checks for optimal performance.
• Operate oil skimmer and manage waste streams.
• Maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance routines.
• Titrate process chemistry and prepare black oxide batches.
