The role involves monitoring control panels, calibrating PH meters, overseeing tank levels, logging operations, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The position requires at least one year of related manufacturing experience, strong computer skills, and a Class K license or plan to obtain it within a year. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant experience is desirable.
• Class K license or commitment to obtain it within one year of joining.
• Physical capability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Previous manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Availability to work weekends is a must.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the operation control panel for correct, efficient function.
• Calibrate pH meters and maintain probes regularly.
• Oversee tank levels and coordinate with metal finishing department.
• Document operations and logs at regular intervals.
• Inspect the neutralization reactor and clarifier for optimal performance.
• Manage waste treatment processes including oil skimmer and waste handling.
• Uphold housekeeping and scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Perform titrations and coating weight analysis; prepare black oxide batches.
