Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Waste Water Operator on the 2nd shift for our Seneca, SC facility. You will operate and monitor the anodic electrocoating paint system and the industrial wastewater treatment process, using PLC/HMI controls, valves, and pumps.

You will maintain equipment, handle chemicals safely, keep accurate records, and work with a team to improve processes. The role offers on‑the‑job training, a $3.00/hr shift differential, and opportunities for skill development and career

Qualifications

Technical/Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Technical Associates Degree preferred.
Industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.
Must obtain D level license within 1 year of employment start date.
Must be a team player and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

Operate and control anodic electrocoating paint system and wastewater treatment processes using PLC/HMI.
Manually operate switches and valves as needed.
Maintain equipment such as nozzles, plumbing, and pumps in the department.
Safely handle and add chemicals; operate diaphragm pumps.
Keep accurate records of operations and maintenance; continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations.
