• Maintain a safe workplace and prioritize safety at all times.
• Operate wastewater pretreatment systems and monitor process streams.
• Respond to unscheduled equipment or process failures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, valves, piping and related equipment.
• Collect and analyze raw waste; perform chemical and physical analysis.
• Maintain cleanliness of the wastewater plant and maintain records.
