Veolia in North America seeks a Waste Tracking Coordinator to support inbound waste shipments. You will coordinate with receiving personnel and security, verify weights and locations, and keep accurate records for regulatory reporting, billing and destruction certificates.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and computer skills, with a focus on timely, compliant documentation and archival of records.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree preferred.
3–6 months clerical experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and Lotus Notes.
Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with receiving personnel and security to communicate shipment status.
Review generator, transporter, shipment, and manifest information for accuracy.
Verify receiving details in facility systems and maintain records.
Document rejected shipments and track related documentation.
Track rail shipments and manage manifests and deadlines.
Scan and archive shipment documentation and manifests.
Submit hazardous waste manifest information and resolve errors.
Prepare certificates of destruction and related records.
Research missing documentation to support billing records.
Organize and file records per company procedures.
