Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a professional to operate a tractor-trailer on the designated route to collect solid waste and recyclables on a daily basis.

The role requires CDL, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safety protocols and load security.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer on assigned route to collect waste and recyclables.
• Ensure loads are secure and tarps closed; prevent loose trash.
• Dump loads and record trailer numbers and net weight.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and daily reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and follow safety policies.
