Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems is seeking a Frontload Driver to service customers on an established route, transporting waste to transfer stations, MRFs, landfills or composting sites. You will safely operate a front load truck under regulatory guidelines and deliver courteous service to customers along your route.

Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, following routes via paper or electronic systems, and maintaining compliance with daily logs and DOT hours.

Qualifications

• One year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow routes and schedules.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Ability to operate electronic devices and logs on board.
• Proficient in English reading/writing for logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Report to work on time in uniform with PPE.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle is fueled and safe.
• Receive route instructions and document progress and issues.
• Operate truck to minimize wear and tear and ensure safety.
• Complete post-trip tasks, report mechanical needs to shop, and debrief route issues.
