Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services while adhering to safety standards and company regulations. The role requires performing pre/post inspections and completing daily reports to ensure vehicle readiness.

You will service customer routes, operate packer controls, and maintain professional interaction with customers and dispatchers, aiming for on-time delivery and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the collection truck on designated routes and service customers as assigned.
• Load refuse using packer controls and dispose at the designated facility.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag according to procedures.
• Maintain vehicle condition and complete required reports and productivity sheets.
