Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. You will ensure the vehicle meets safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports.

You will follow Company safety policies, read route sheets, service customers on assigned routes, and maintain productivity while upholding professional customer interactions and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections for safety equipment and controls.
• Safely operate heavy truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the packer blade according to safety procedures.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers on a daily basis.
• Complete route productivity sheets and vehicle condition reports daily.
