Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs is seeking a full-time waste collection worker to service Warm Springs area. The role involves collecting refuse and recycling, operating and maintaining waste vehicles, and documenting waste weight on a daily route schedule.

Work is outdoors in all weather, with heavy lifting and a requirement to pass background checks and screenings. CDL is preferred and must be obtainable with medical release within one year.

Qualifications

• Driver's license is required.
• CDL preferred; must obtain CDL with medical release within 1 year.
• Criminal background check required by Federal, Tribal and State law enforcement.
• Pass pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collect refuse and recycling from businesses and homes while operating/maintaining waste collection vehicles and equipment.
• Follow designated routes/schedule and document waste weight.
• Work in a team environment outdoors in all weather with heavy lifting up to 60 pounds.
