Job summary

Reworld in Lindenhurst, NY, is seeking a Waste Processing Technician II to operate and maintain waste processing across streams with minimal supervision. You will handle safety, permits, QA/QC, and paperwork, and work with equipment including pressure washers, forklifts, and conveyors.

Responsibilities include compliant record-keeping, driving mobile equipment, and general facility upkeep, while maintaining strong safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role in the USA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a related role.
• Ability to pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to use NetSuite and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Able to operate cranes, forklifts and power tools safely.
• Willing to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying postures.
• OSHA-compliant working knowledge and ability to follow guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and support safety/compliance.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, forklifts, and more.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries.
• Off-load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility equipment.
• QA/QC and lab analysis for waste streams and materials.
• Complete facility paperwork and regulatory records.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
